Lowdown 13
Mario Lacasse
Mario is the latest addition and brings years of entertainment experience having showcased his own band in many well known clubs locally.
While still in high school, Canadian born Mario LaCasse became a member of Misbehavin, a band whose influences of Texas country, blues and rock, became the staples of a developing guitar style. Very early on in the band it became obvious that the talent and desire was there that he not only comfortably played these styles, but played them with an energy and emotion that was undeniable.
Today, after more than 30 years of playing from south Florida to Texas and back, he is now the one that inspires and influences guitarists who see him play. The undeniable charisma in his playing has led to comments from his peers as being THE REAL DEAL and a south Florida guitar monster while being one of the most respected and liked guitar players in our area.
Willy Lojo
A big blues lover from down south in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has always been influenced by all the different Delta, Chicago, Texas and West Coast roots, and also singers like Ray Charles, Solomon Burke, Joe Tex and many others. Willy is not known to most of the South Florida Blues scene yet, but he uses all the tools available to put on a good show and have fun on stage, hoping audiences will join in every time the band performs.
He was part of some other bands in the past and is now the singer and harp player of LowDown 13.
